A report accepted by the Bryan/College Station Metropolitan Planning Organization this week identifies many interim and long-term projects to improve the F.M. 2818 corridor.
Increasing supply, decreasing demand and improving traffic flow and safety on the roadway were major drivers of the study that began in February 2016. Funded by two $60,000 statewide planning research fund grants in fiscal years 2016 and 2017, the study performed by consulting firm CDM Smith and released Thursday is intended to develop a vision for the future of the F.M. 2818 corridor.
