Work Begins on SH 21 Crossover at RELLIS Campus

TxDOT

BRAZOS COUNTY– Beginning tomorrow, August 24, 2017, the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) contractor will set barricades to begin work on SH 21 to improve the crossover at the new RELLIS Campus entrance. This work will consist of widening the existing crossover and extending the westbound deceleration lane. This work is anticipated to take three months to complete.

During this work, there will be a single lane closure on SH 21 westbound. The crossover will remain open to traffic during this construction.

This work is part of a $1.8 million project contracted to Knife River Corp. South to improve crossovers and turn lanes on SH 21. TxDOT and their contractor appreciate everyone’s patience during this work.
