Open House for Raised Medians on FM 2347


The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing to install additional raised medians on FM 2347 (George Bush Drive) from FM 2154 (Welborn Road) to BS-6R (Texas Avenue). An informal open house is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2020 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at College View High School, 1300 George Bush Drive, College Station, TX 77840. TxDOT staff will display the proposed plan and be available to discuss the project.

The proposed plan is to install additional raised medians within the project limits, resurface pavement and make upgrades to sidewalks.

The public is invited to attend and may come and go at their convenience. Information about this project is also available on the TxDOT Projects and Studies web page at Updated meeting displays will be available for viewing on the web page after the public meeting. Displays showing the proposed plan and other information regarding the project are also available for inspection at the District Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
