In the News: SXSW: Texas A&M Experts Discuss Rural Health Concerns and Innovative Solutions

Two Texas A&M-affiliated leaders were part of a panel of experts who explored rural health care challenges and innovations Tuesday afternoon at the annual South by Southwest festival.

About 65 attendees, including dozens of health care professionals, crammed inside Fleming’s Steakhouse in downtown Austin to listen as Carrie L. Byington, dean of the Texas A&M College of Medicine, moderated a 45-minute discussion that included analysis of rural health care trends and updates of technology and initiatives.
