In the News: Bryan Considering e-Scooter Program

newspaper black smaller

The city of Bryan is in talks with companies to potentially introduce a pilot program for electric scooters, but it's unclear when they could show up on city streets.

According to Deputy City Manager Joey Dunn, the city does know that it would only allow up to about 100 scooters as part of a pilot, and that the period to test their operation would be short. Meanwhile, in College Station, an update on how its own rules and regulations would apply to e-scooters if they're introduced in the neighboring city has been requested for a future meeting.
